The staff's lack of friendliness and poor service at the restaurant were disappointing. Breakfast was exceptional, but the overall experience fell short of expectations for a 5-star property.

Rooms are spacious, comfortable and well-appointed, with large on-suite baths. Beautifully landscaped grounds with candlelight lanterns all around make for a romantic atmosphere.

I also loved the wellness facilities, from the Turkish bath to the heated spas and multiple pools. the outdoor setting under the umbrella pines was simply stunning, and there were plenty of cozy pavilions and water beds for ultimate relaxation. the staff were incredibly thoughtful and attentive, always going above and beyond to cater to my needs.

My only complaint would be that there were a lot of people from outside coming to use the spa facilities, which made the hotel seem a bit overcrowded and less exclusive. there were quite a few mosquitoes in the room, which made for an uncomfortable stay.
